My parents live in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, and I won’t lie it’s been really hard being so far away knowing they needed help. My mom has dementia, and there were so many nights I just felt anxious thinking about her. Finding Lindsay honestly changed everything for us. She didn’t just place caregivers and disappear, she truly cared. She matched us with two incredible caregivers who didn’t just “do the job”… they became family. The way they treat my mom with patience, kindness, and respect means more than I can put into words.
Living across the world, having that kind of peace of mind is priceless.

I’m so, so grateful for Lindsay and everything she’s done for my family. I genuinely don’t know what we would’ve done without her.

I had a very disappointing experience working with Lindsay’s caregiver placement service. She promises to provide at least three qualified caretakers, but the first three she sent for my mother were completely unacceptable.

One candidate abruptly quit before we could even complete the interview process. Another arrived with known back problems and a doctor’s note restricting her ability to work. The third caregiver did not follow through on basic responsibilities that were clearly discussed—such as cleaning and cooking—and brought unnecessary personal drama into our home.

Although Lindsay offered additional candidates, my trust was already shaken after the initial experience—especially considering I paid over $2,000 for her service. It did not feel like the caregivers had been properly vetted, which is the entire reason I hired her in the first place.

This situation is especially upsetting because my mom is unwell and cannot handle constantly rotating through new caretakers. This is a sensitive time for our family, and it felt like the focus was more on collecting payment than ensuring quality, stable care for someone who truly needs it.

To make matters worse, my texts have gone unanswered, and there has been no meaningful follow-up.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service. Families looking for reliable, well-screened caregivers—especially for vulnerable loved ones—should look elsewhere.

I highly recommend Lindsay and her caregiver finding services. She is thorough, communicative, and has great follow-up. She is very clear in what her responsibilities are -- to provide her clients with caregivers to interview and potentially hire. Looking for a caregiver for my mom comes with all kinds of emotions. Lindsay is fast acting and decisive. She went over and above her commitment to our family. She seems genuinely to care.

Lindsay was a tremendous help to my father during the final few months of his life, as well as the rest of our family. She knew how to effectively advocate for him to receive the coverage and help he needed from the VA, his long term care insurance, and even help to ensure he received proper care while in the hospital. She also helped facilitate getting his home set up to enhance his ease of mobility, added in meal prep, shopping, cleaning and overall day to day help and care. In addition to all of that, she was there every day, whenever needed to support both my dad and our family. She definitely brought more quality and joy into my dad's final months. We are very grateful for her help.

Lindsay Polis had been my private caregiver for almost 2 years , I have Parkinson’s and she has taught me a lot from transferring safely , taking a shower solo , dressing myself and taking me out in fun outings like for breakfast , to starbucks to watching the waves at the beach , I would highly recommend her and her company 😉

My mother is in early stages of Alzheimer's. I had been dreading trying to find someone that would come into my mother's house and help her.
