At Finding Homecare LLC, we operate differently than a traditional home healthcare agency. Instead of charging families ongoing high hourly agency markups every week, we charge a one-time caregiver referral fee to connect you with qualified, vetted caregivers that fit your loved one’s needs and personality.

Once matched, the caregiver becomes employed directly by the family, allowing families to save thousands of dollars per month compared to traditional agency pricing. Our one-time fee covers recruiting, screening, matching, coordination, and caregiver placement support. Families then pay the caregiver directly for ongoing care services.

This model gives families more consistency, transparency, and affordability without sacrificing quality care.

We understand that many families contact us during emergencies, hospital discharges, hospice transitions, or sudden caregiver shortages. In many cases, we can provide caregiver options within 24–48 hours depending on the level of care, schedule, and location needed.

Because we have access to a large network of caregivers, CNAs, LVNs, and healthcare professionals across California and the United States, we are often able to move much faster than traditional agencies.

Trust and safety are extremely important to us. Every caregiver referred through Finding Homecare goes through a screening process that may include: * Background checks * Professional references * Employment verification * Experience verification * License or certification verification (when applicable) * Live Scan/fingerprint clearance when requested * Skills and personality matching We look for caregivers who are not only experienced and qualified, but also compassionate, reliable, empathetic, and professional.

We understand that caregiver compatibility matters. If the caregiver is not the right fit for your family, we work quickly to help provide a replacement caregiver.

Our goal is to make sure your loved one feels safe, comfortable, and supported. We proudly offer caregiver replacement support during the initial placement period to help families feel confident and secure in the process.

Traditional home-care agencies typically charge families ongoing hourly rates that include large agency markups, while caregivers are often paid significantly less.

Finding Homecare uses a concierge caregiver referral model instead.

Here’s the difference:

Traditional Agency Model

* Agency employs caregiver
* Family pays high ongoing hourly rates
* Caregiver pay is often lower
* Families can spend thousands more per month

Finding Homecare Model

* We connect families directly with vetted caregivers
* Families pay a one-time referral fee
* Families pay caregivers directly
* Caregivers are often paid better
* Families can save thousands monthly

This model creates more consistency for families and better compensation for caregivers.

Traditional non-medical caregiving services are generally private pay and are not usually covered by Medicare.

However, some families may be eligible for reimbursement through:

* Long-term care insurance
* Veterans benefits
* Certain private insurance plans
* Flexible spending or health savings accounts

We recommend checking directly with your insurance provider to understand your specific coverage options.
